Rochester: Saturday, December 25, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, Stanley Michatek; daughter, Kathleen Maloney; brother, John Ragan; sisters, Kay Fassanella, Jane Thomas. Survived by her loving daughters, Betsy Piechota, Theresa (Dominic) Arioli; grandchildren, Michael (Donna) Maloney, Patti Brown (Nick Paratore); Melissa Maloney, Johnny Piechota, Julie (Mark) Andersen, Joe (Janet) Piechota; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Brianna Brown, Ella and Nate Andersen, Daniela Piechota; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Betty was the most kind, loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. All that knew her were inspired by her unselfish ways. The family would like to thank the staff, especially her devoted aid, Nia Kassib at St. John's Home for the loving care given to Betty. No prior calling. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd. Webster. Betty's loving nephew, Reverend Bill Michatek, presiding. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.   1. Betty always had a smile for everyone she greeted. I ccherish how she thought of my son when we would visit family over the Christmas holidays. Alex looked forward to seeing her and exchanging gifts. She is that sparkling star in the sky watching over her daughters who so lovingly took care of her. You will be remembered.
