Gates: Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Floyd Soper. Survived by her daughter, Debra (Nicolau) Mikolenko; grandchildren, Nicolau Mikolenko, II, Marissa Mikolenko, Jennifer Mikolenko; great-granddaughter, Khirson Mikolenko; brother, Charles Thoman; sister, Rita Szatkowski;; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and Friends may call Friday 4-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at St. Helen’s Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s death.She was a lovely lady &my 1st cousin.Her mother was a sister of my father,Joseph Isaac.Ihave fond memories of visiting my Grandma&the Thomans as a child.I am unable to attend her service as I no longer drive in from Honeoye,but she &her family are in my prayers
We met Mary when we first moved to Chestnut Drive. We were good friends with Mary and Floyd, and went to dances and parties with them. Mary was a wonderful neighbor and was most helpful when we needed her. We missed her when she moved away, and I know that she is in a better place now and that she is at peace. We will keep her in our prayers.
