Martha M. Landry Greece: Thursday, May 31, 2018 at age 75. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Survived by her husband of 55 years, John G. Landry; her daughters, Louise Landry, Kim (Bill) Frank; granddaughter, Nicole Marie Landry; brothers, Gilles (Gaetane) Nadeau, Eudo (Agnes) Nadeau; sisters, Leola (Freddy) Mediera, Cecile Nadeau; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A beautiful, vivacious, caring and giving woman. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and to her Catholic faith. She was renowned for her wonderful cooking and for baking the best pies. She was the hostess with the mostest! She possessed a true love of life and adventure. She loved music by playing the piano, singing in Sweet Adeline’s choir, St. Lawrence choir and also the Director of the LaPaloma church choir in Florida. Her pleasures included dancing, golfing, card playing, going to the casino, and eating delicious food. She is now dancing and singing with the Angels. Friends may call Thursday (June 7th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (June 8th) 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church, Greece. Private interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.   1. Dear John & family, Sorry to hear of Martha’s passing but I am glad she is no longer suffering. It was so good to see her at our last RCSA breakfast and I know she heard us singing to her. I know she is singing in God’s choir of angels and maybe even directing a song or two. She was a special lady and a good friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed. I have known Martha many years through our Swee5t Adeline membership and always enjoyed our times together whether it be having a sack at Jay’s Diner after rehearsal, attending completion in Syracuse, playing cards, or partying….you name it…she was fun to be with and will be sorely missed by us all. May God bless her and all of her family who have been so caring and supportive of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  8. I was so sorry to receive the news of Martha’s passing. We sang together in Sweet Adelines for many years. She was always upbeat and had plenty of bling! You have all been so supportive and loving caretakers, especially during this past year. I really thought she would beat the problem. But, at least now she is free again. Blessings to all of you.
