Marie A. “Winnie” Leverenz

Greece:  Thursday, June 25, 2020 at age 97.  Marie went home to be with her parents, Joe and Hermine; husband, Frederick R.; brothers, Harold and Albert; sisters, Pearl and Lillie.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah A. (Michael) Borrelli; her grandsons whom she loved dearly, Thomas (Melissa) and Brian Borrelli; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jasmine Borrelli, Zekariah Koch, Michael and Daniel Borrelli; sister, Kathleen Skerencak; nieces, nephews, cousins; many loving family and dear friends.

Marie retired from Eastman Kodak Co. after 38 years in 1981. In her spare time she was an avid reader, enjoyed, quilting, needle point, crocheting and canning. Marie and Fred enjoyed camping and taking cruises. She had a love for God, family, animals and a heart of gold.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marie’s celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 AM at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road. Those attending must sign up for a seat at www.fbbc.info/borrelli (All must wear masks and maintain social distancing). Private interment, Mt. I’ll always picture her shuffling to the swing, rocking like crazy for 5 minutes, then shuffling back to her sweet apartment where she was safe and loved!!!! Also I enjoyed cruising with you & your Mom that was fun.. those special memories will always be with me.
