Greece: Went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 28, 2011 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, Ignazio Torregrossa; great-grandson, Nicholas Torregrossa. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Carol) Torregrossa & Serafino (Gina) Torregrossa; daughter, MaryAnne (Arthur) Constantine; grandchildren, Joseph (Chrissi) Torregrossa, Michael (Terri Dudek) Torregrossa, Lisa (Michael) Grolling, Jason Torregrossa, Amanda (Ramy Eskander) Torregrossa, Vincent Torregrossa, Nicholas (Jessica) Torregrossa, Marcus, Maria, Christa & Joshua Constantine; great-grandchildren, Tia, Alexis, Olivia, Mia & A.J.; brother, Antonio Pavone; nieces and nephews; many dear friends. Maria's family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the Victorian Unit at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for their outstanding care and support. Friends may call, Sunday 2-6 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, 700 Island Cottage Road, Rochester NY 14612 in her memory.
