Greece: Friday, October 25, 2013 at age 92, after a short but heroic effort decided to rest. With family at her side she peacefully went home to the Lord on October 25th 2013. Born and raised in Rochester, New York Margaret is pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years Joseph 'Bud' ; her brothers, Robert, Jerome and Bernard Dalton and sister, Mary Phillips. She is survived by her loving daughter Judith M. Belle-Isle (Michael); grandsons, Marc and Mathieu Belle-Isle plus many loving and caring nieces, nephews and friends. Returning from Spring Hill Florida she came to call Fleming Point home. In living life to its fullest Margaret touched the lives of many. Her quick wit and complete love of life brought laughter and joy to all who knew her. Margaret's visitation will be held Monday, October 28th, 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct 29th 9:30 AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Road. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lap Robes of Veterans, 73 Stanton Street, Rochester, NY 14611 or the charity of one's choice in her memory.

  2. I only met you once, and sorry to say it was through my late husband, Richard. Apparently, his late mother was your ‘sister’ , Irene Lambert, married to Earl Burbott.
    My son would like to know the well guarded ‘secret’ of his grandmother Irene Burbott. Was she or was she not Margaret’s sister? Why the big mystery? Shame on all of you. katherine shaw burbott
