Margaret Mary Morris “Peggy”

Greece:  Friday, October 16, 2020 went home to be with her parents, Charles and Jeanette Brown; brother, Tim Brown.  She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Bill Morris; devoted children, Jacqueline (Nathan) Barnes, Katherine (Jeffrey) Scipioni, William (Chyrsti) Morris and Timothy Morris; grandchildren, John, Emily, Cooper, James and expecting 2 on the way; siblings, George Brown, Steve (Toni) Brown, Debbie Viau, Chris Ernst and Tina Brown; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends.

Peggy had a passion for helping others and she was most proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Peggy’s visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21st 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 22nd 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 2400 W. Ridge Road.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center at Unity Hospital 601 Elmwood Avenue Rochester, NY 14642 in her memory.  For more information and to sign her online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com

She was the glue that held us together, the light at every gathering, and such a caring, warm, wonderful soul! Aunt Peg, we will surely miss you!

  5. I had the pleasure of working with Peg at the Ronald McDonald organization…. her positive attitude for life as she struggled with this disease had such an affect on me and others…she was a gift. We had loads of laughs and she was always willing to pitch in and share the work..helping others. Truly a gem to know…sending prayers to all who love her. Mary Ellen

  6. We are so sorry for your loss. Peg was such a energetic, happy, easy going person. She made me feel very comfortable to join the troop 48 family. There wasn’t a time where she wasn’t there to help out. Alot of good times and laughs I am blessed to been able to have you in my life and to call you my friend. You will be truly missed.   11. Bill Tim and Family: Joe and I are truly sorry fir your liss. Oeggy was dynamic kind thoughtful joyful honest loving woman that brought the best out in me. She made me laugh when we’d see each ither at my former place of employment, and gave out the best hugs!!
    I remember one cub scout family holiday dinner we all attended together. She kept saying how much she loved my meatballs! Peggy was the only person to whom I told my meatball secret!!
    I will miss her smiling face. God bless you all and you will see her again. I’m looking forward to seeing her.

  13. To Morris Family – we are sad to hear about her passing and your family loss. Our recent visits with her or your family were short catch up stories usually around church services. She will be remembered as a very kind and considerate person always asking about how everyone is doing. She will be missed by many.   14. Timmy, please accept my sincerest sympathy and please extend it to your dad and the rest of your family. You probably don’t remember me from West Ridge School but I remember you. You were always a very respectful and hard working student and I truly enjoyed working with you. I remember your mom also. She was a wonderful caring person who raised a wonderful and caring son.
