  1. Aunt Margaret I shall miss you more than you will ever know. You were always there, a dear caring, loving Aunt. When my mamma, your sister Dorothy Taft passed away in 1988 I remember how much you and your family were there to help all of us through the pain and loss. As you were also when daddy passed in 1982.

I shall forever cherish your warming smile. If ever I need to get through a bad time in my life, I shall bring it up in my memory. It will help me to heal.

Our ‘funny’ times with Aunt Florence, you throwing your foot in the air. How we laughed. A good hamberger at Bill Grays and a ride around the old places we remembered.

Yes, I am so very proud, happy and blessed to have had an Aunt who I believe was a Saint.

She taught me very early in life to attend Bible School. Yep, we all had to go to Hope Lutheran on Dewey avenue, like it or not. Or should I say, you better or else.

Ah, that cubby hole in the upper bedroom. I sure didn’t want to be lost in there.

Thank You Aunt Margaret for so many happy, loving memories.

Love to all my dear loving cousins, their families and grandchildren. Love to my Aunt Helen, Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Bill. How blessed I am to still have them in my life.

    I will forever miss you.
    Love, Marlene & Family

  2. Dear Cousin Ronald, I’m sorry I forgot to name you in my earlier visit to you mom’s guest book entry. I remember all the wonderful times we had with her and Uncle Henry in their home on Bratton Rd. Miss and love you all. Precious memories of those times will never be be erased from my mind.

I’m so glad she lived with Jesus in her life and is now at home with Him.
To all my family, I’m sorry I can’t be with you at this time…but I’m there in spirit and love for all of you.
Cousins Harlow, Henry, Alan, Beverly, and Deloris…I love you all and pray God will comfort and hold you in His arms at this time and always.

  6. I remember my great aunt visiting my
    grandmother Dorothy Knight. She
was such a happy lady. I wish I’d known
her later in life, but all my memories
were when I was younger. She will
    be missed.
