Greece: Thursday, December 25, 2008. Loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Sims; grandson, Ryan Proia; sister, Helen Tindal. Survived by her children, Sharlene Zink, Marlene Proia (Ed), Robert (Jean) Sims; sister, Mildred Balsamo; grandchildren, Heather-Erin, Joseph, Michael, Scott & Justin; great-grandchildren, Emily, Hailey, Hudson & Madison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
No prior calling. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday 10:00 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice or the charity of your choice in her memory.

I am so sorry for you loss.
I have many fond memories of growing up on Harding Road. My mother taking coffee breaks over at your house, your home decorated so festively for Christmas. I believe you had the first silver tree with a color wheel I had ever seen, I remember it well. Your mom always had time to be friendly to kids with a smile and a laugh to share. May she rest in peace.
