Greece: Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at age 55. Predeceased by his mother, Maria Mangiola. Survived by his father, Gino Mangiola; wife of 27 years, Loretta Mangiola; his children, Christina and Anthony Mangiola; siblings, Pat (Audrey), Carmen, Bruno (Denise), Antonette (Sam), Gino (Dee), Mario (Loreen); brother-in-law, Ron Piccolo; sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Jim) Leta; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles in the U. S. and Italy; dear friends. Lorenzo enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.
Friends may call Sunday (Feb 23rd) 12-5 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Services will be held Monday 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in his memory. Lorenzo used to play act with Christina, teaching her the roles of a sales clerk at Sibley’s or being the customer-focusing on how to be helpful and courteous. He was a man with a big heart and lived life with gusto. Our thoughts are with his loving and supportive family.
