Linda Gay (Conner) Taylor

Friday, March 3, 2023 at age 78.  Predeceased by her husband of 12 years, Wayne Taylor; parents, Norman Conner Sr. & Catherine Conner-Croyle; brother, Norman Conner Jr.; brothers-in-law, Herb Elliott and Lowell Taylor.  She is survived by her daughters, Tracey (Timothy) Ladd and Amber (Donald) Burns; grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob and Joshua Melville and Joseph and Bridgette Burns; siblings, Fred (Linda) Conner, Jean (Ned) Callander, Bonnie Elliot; sister-in-law, Deborah Conner; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and dear friends.

Linda was born in Parker, PA, graduated from Union High School in 1965 and moved to New York in 1970 to attend phone school and care for her aunt and uncle in Greece, NY.  She was a long-time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.  She was a switchboard operator for New York State, and a sales associate for JCPenney’s and Christmas Tree Shops.  In her early years, she enjoyed square dancing with Wayne. Linda loved knitting, music, & spending time with her friends, family, especially her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda’s visitation will be held Thursday, March 9^th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road.  Her Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, March 10^th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.  Private interment, Hartland Central Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association in her memory.  For more information and to sign her online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com
