Kay L Fister

Kay Fister, 93, formerly of Hilton NY, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 27, 2019 at her daughter’s home in New Castle, PA. Kay was born in Easton, PA and was the daughter of Russell and Leoline (Williams) Pleiss. She married her beloved husband, Robert Fister, in 1950 and they celebrated 43 years together until his passing in 1993. In addition to being a great mother, Kay loved sewing and creating greeting cards. She also was a life-long stamp collector. She loved the Lord and led Bible studies at Greece Assembly of God, at Hilton East, and in her home for many years. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandsons. In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was predeceased by her sisters, Jean Lanan and Joyce Peck, and their husbands, and her dear cat, Metoo. She is survived by her children David Fister (Debbie) of Brockport NY, Karen Walker (Jeffrey) of New Castle; four grandsons and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating her life will be at Greece Assembly of God, 750 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY on July 11 at 10 am. Memorial donations may be made to Builders International Foundation, Project #9267, PO Box 1969, Ozark, MO 65721. A private burial will be in Garland Cemetery, Brockport, NY.
