Greece: December 23, 2011. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary Wegman. He is survived by his children, Kathy (Jim), Margie (Jim), Marilyn (Jeff), Karl Jr., Karen (Bill), Mary (Todd), Mark (Lynette) & Anne (Doug); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister, Joyce (Laddy) Bertch; brother-in-law, Bruce; many friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 27th, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 28th, 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mercy Flight (MercyFlight.org) or St. Ann's Community, Palliative Center for Caring (StAnnsCommunity.com) in his memory.

Our prayers and thoughts are with your family. Karl and Mary were our children’s next door grandparents. Our kids have fond memories of them Karl and our dog Maxx shared a special bond, they were buddies in a special way. They are together again in God’s special place. Bless you Karl for being a great neighbor. Love Bob and Tracy and family.
