April 15, 1929 ~ May 22, 2011
Rush: Monday, May 23, 2011. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Helga Gertsen; daughters, Linda (Andrew) Evenski, Cindy (William) Mildenberger; grandchildren, Allison Evenski, Dorothea Mildenberger; many dear friends. Kai was a lifelong member of the Finger Lake's Soaring Club and the Harris Hill Soaring Corporation.
Friends may call Friday 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Interment held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Palliative Care Program at Strong or the National Kidney Foundation in his memory.
