Rochester: Monday, January 36, 2009 at age 80. Predeceased by her husband, Remo Jacob, her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Silaschi and her grandson. Survived by 2 sons, Winfred (Debbie) and Mark (Sarah) Jacob; 7 grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be Thursday evening at 7 o'clock at the New Apostolic Church, 750 Marshall Road. Interment in Grove Place Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

  10. Mark and Winfred, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and a great dancer. I remember at my wedding I had to make sure I had some ballroom music for her. She danced so gracefully. She will live on in you both as well as your children. My thoughts are with you and your family.

    She will be missed on the dance floor.
    We knew each other since 1992, she was the queen of the dancers.
    I missed the viewing, but attended the funeral on Thursday. Did not get a chnace to talk to her sons.
