Judith (Judy) Van Almkerk Carris

Rochester:  Friday, December 23 2022 at age 81.  Predeceased by her parents; John & Rowena (Keegan) Van Almkerk and sister Nancy Van Almkerk Jones.

Survived by children, Cindy Carris (Donald Cowan), Scott Carris (Fatima Gonzalez) James Carris (Carrie Carris), Dennis Carris, stepson Phillip Carris (Angela Carris); grandchildren, Kevin Carris, (Alaina Palmer), Cody Schouten (Laura Schouten), Jennifer Carris, Michelle Carris, Daniel Carris, Samantha Llorente & Cavan Carris; great- grandson, Cooper Carris; brother, Richard Van Almkerk; nieces and nephews, Barbara Jones (Mollie Marchione), Karen Johnson, Barbara Vigrass (David Vigrass), Lori Miles (Darrell Miles), Peggy Shatzel (Eric Bloomfeldt), John Shatzel (Julie Wei-Shatzel), Samantha Ryon, Rodney Carris

Judith was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and Wegmans.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets (GRASP) in her memory.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2023.
