Joseph Zabitchuck

Friday, March 2, 2007 at age 85. He is predeceased by his parents, Starko and Susan and sister, Anne. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pauline; daughter, Ann Marie DiMitro and son-in-law, Anthony DiMitro; son, Joseph, Jr.; daughter, Suzanne and son-in-law, Martin Port; sister, Catherine Bennett; grandchildren, James and David DiMitro, Caroline, Joseph H. and Kristen Zabitchuck; also by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mr. Zabitchuck was a Kodak employee for 36 years. He served in the US Army, 80th Division during WWII. He was a POW in Germany and was the recipient of a Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and other various decorations. Family and friends may call Sunday 4-8PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home. On Monday, prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home at 8:30AM and his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30AM in Sacred Heart Cathedral(Flower City Park). Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Stroke Association or to the Veteran's Outreach Center.
