Joseph J. Prophet
November 16, 1929 ~ July 8, 2012
Greece: July 8, 2012 at age 82. Predeceased by parents, John & Frances Prophet; brother, Frank C. Prophet. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carmela (Ciaccia) Prophet; sons, John J. Prophet, David V. Prophet & Stephen J. (Becky) Prophet; grandchildren, Rachel Prophet & Lacey (Seth) Blodgett; great-grandchildren, Logan & McKenzie; sister-in-law, Gloria Prophet; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Joseph is a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War aboard the SS Bataan.
Joseph's family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Strong Hospital & their friends and neighbors at Mill Landing for their care and support.
A Celebration of Joseph's life will be held, Sunday, July 29th, 2 P.M. at the Clubhouse of Mill Landing, 100 Mill Landing (Off Mill Road, Just West of Long Pond Road).

Carm and Family, My prayers and thoughts are with u at the passing of Joe. I remember him so well as a real fun loving man growing up on Sprucewood Lane. You have my deepest sympathy. My parents always liked u both and you were always there for them so if I can do anything for you please call on me. Love to you Carm and the boys.
