Joseph E. Scally of Rochester, NY passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019 at Unity Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, of 65 years; three sons, Daniel(Deborah), Timothy(Peggy) and Joseph Jr.(Pamela); 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Maggie, Erica, Amy, Ben and Raelyns; 5 great grandchildren; brother Frank (Kay) of Rochester and sister, Anna Mae (Jim) of Texas. He is predeceased by brothers, Thomas, Gerald, William; sisters, Mary Jane, Katy, Maggie and Francis. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father. Joseph’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the medical staff at Unity hospital in Rochester who took loving care with him in his final hours. Joseph celebrated his 90th birthday on December, 23rd 2018. Joseph's visitation will be held on Thursday January 17th, 2-4 PM where his celebration of life will follow at 4 PM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. Private interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Geriatric Care at Unity hospital in Rochester or Gates Volunteer Ambulance.     I apologize for not being able to make the service. Your Dad/father- in- law was a great service to me at Light Fab when I started there and Danny continued in his steps at Pacer and beyond. I still have the blue binder that I keep my important stuff in now.
