Survived by his daughter, Lisa (Robert) Stapley of Pennsylvania; son, Joseph (Mary) LaViola of Florida; sisters, Julia Pettis of Ohio & Elizabeth LaViola; grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer & Nathan Stapley; nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. No prior calling. Entombment held privately at White Haven Memorial Park.

    Betty, So sorry to hear of your loss. Your brother passed away on the same day as my mother and the’re at the same funeral home. Your former neighbor

    We (myself and my brother Arthur) are very sadened to learn of Joe’s passing. Joe was a mentor and role model for me in my younger years. We shall miss him. Our deepest condolences to the family.
