Greece: March 2, 2012 at age 94. Predecease by his wife, Mildred Baleno. He is survived by his loving daughters, Diane (Mike) General & Mary (Wally) Jerome; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends.
Friends may call Sunday (TODAY), March 4th, 1-4 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Monday, March 5th, 11:30 A.M. in Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight Rochester (HonorFlightRochester.org) or Upstate Chapter for the Multiple Sclerosis Society (NationalMSSociety.org) in his memory.

I am Uncle Joes Great niece, the daughter of his nephew Bob, son of his sister, Grace,,,,I was saddened to learn about his death through my dad today…I am also saddened I never new him,,,I think maybe when I was a kid, I am very sorry to the family for your loss, I saw the pic on here, and boy did he look like my grandma! I wish to express my deepest condolences to the family of this wonder man, Joseph. I cared for Mr. Baleno for only a short time as his Physician Assistant but it was indeed a wonderful time. Each medical visit with Joe was memory making for me, he was such a pleasure to care for and I’ll miss his smile and truly great sense of humor. God bless. Bill Fuhrmann, RPA-C.
