  1. Dear Goodwin Family:
Although you do not know me, I knew John. I was the instructor he had when he completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course back a few years ago. I remember John fondly as a great student with an inquisitive mind. His participation in class along with his wonderful personality was appreciated by not only myself but by the other students as well. Those traits are what made him successful in his seasonal career and I am sure in his life as well. John often shared with us the pride and love he had for his family. He was a wonderful man and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet and work with him. My heartfelt condolences to all of those, including myself, who are now mourning his passing.

  9. To Goodwin Family: I read of your loss, and would like to offer my condolences. Recently, I lost a member of my family, unexpectedly, and I understand the grief and sorrow that you and your family are feeling at this time. Although words cannot fill the emptiness of your loss, I would like to share with you a promise that has helped me. It is found at John 5:28,29. ‘ All those in the memorial tombs will hear His (JESUS ) voice, and come out to a resurrection of life…’ May I assure you, I am not trying to give or change your religion. The pain of loss is felt, regardless of religion. May you be strengthened and comforted by friends and family through this VERY DIFFICULT time.
