Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I wish to extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy with the loss of your father. I worked with your father at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for approximately fifteen years. We shared a lot of good times and I have quite a few good memories. I hope that the memories you have of your father will also stay with you.

  2. It was great to have John as a member of The Hopekeepers. Although it was for a very short time.

After we talked awhile, John said that this group was what he needed at this point in his life. Little did he know, John was what the group needed..

It was my privilege and honor to know John.

God’s Blessings to Ellie and the Family.

  3. Mrs. Helfer & Family I,m very sorry for your loss. My thoughs and prayers are with your family. I worked with John for about two years in the jailors office we had many good times and laughs.

    God Bless

  4. We are deeply saddened by John’s passing on the 2nd. Richard and I always enjoyed talking to John outdoors during the nice weather days. We only wish we could have had more time to spend with John. We are grateful that we got to know such a nice man, even if only for a short time.

  5. We were sadden to hear of John’s sudden passing. He always was smiling and full of joy! I always remember waving to him as Ellie and John drove by in the car. We love the Helfer family and our thoughts are prayers are with you.
