Johnson and her daughters, Patty (Tom) Elias, Doreen (Dave) Carges, Denise (Kevin) O’Buck & Darlene Johnson; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; brother, Dennis Gallagher; sisters, Alice (Jack) Battligia & Martha. He was a Navy veteran and a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service FRIDAY, 11 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Interment was private in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery

Greece: March 2, 2009 at age 94. Survived by his wife, Mary Gallagher; loving caregivers, Laurie (Guy) Higgins; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; many dear friends. John is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. Friends may call Thursday, 5-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday 10 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to G.R.A.S.P., P.O. Box 26741, Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory.
