Sunday, January 3 2010 at age 103. Predeceased by her husband, Hendrik R. Heerkens; son Henry Peter Heerkens; grandson, James Nardi; great grandsons, Jesse Nardi & Adam Heerkens. She is survived by her children, Jane (John) Sheret, Ronald (Kathy) Heerkens, & Anita Nardi; 6 grandsons, Steven, Daniel, & Jonathan Heerkens and Victor, Bruce & William Nardi; granddaughter, Angela Heerkens; 2 great-grandsons,
2 great-granddaughters & 1 great-great granddaughter.
Private services. Interment in Riverside Cemetery held privately.

God Bless Great Aunt Johanna, what a great life she lead. I can only imagine what things she saw and experienced from 1906 to this past weekend. Your line of the Heerkens family was so lucky to have the Matriarch live so long.
