Greece: Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on November 21, 2012 at age 81. Predeceased by her sister, Jean Hutchings. She is survived by George Schwallie, Sr.; children, Craig (Katya) Schwallie, Lynda (Mark) Merlino, George (Karen) Schwallie, Jr., Karen (Ken) Marienau, Scott (Jody) Schwallie, Todd Schwallie, Lisa (Brad) Bucklin, Jeff (Joanne) Schwallie & Jeanine Schwallie; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Gerry) Kemnitz, Bill Kemnitz & Harold Kemnitz; nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends.
Joan's visitation will be held Tuesday, November 27th, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & -Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment will be held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Joan was a vibrant and strong woman. She will be well remembered and always loved and missed. Our hearts go out to the rest of the family, that you may have her strength as you grieve the loss of her from this life.
