Joan Ida Baran

Patton, PA: Died peacefully, Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the age of 73, surrounded by her three children and several family members. Joan was the caring daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Bertison; beloved wife of the late George Baran; loving mother of Georgine (Rod) Rusnak of Rochester, NY, Margaret (Kevin) Petak of Manassas Park, VA, Joseph (Arlette) Baran of Pittsburgh, PA; grandmother to Corey, Melody, Andrea, Kyle, Katie and Molly; sister of Dorothy (Paul) McNulty, Margaret (Ron) Lipin and the late Barbara (Pat) Cence. No prior calling hours. Mass of Christian burial was be celebrated at St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Patton, PA. Arrangements in PA were entrusted to Askew-Houser Funeral Home.
