  1. I am so sorry to hear of Joanie’s passing, this has been such hard times for your families. Sometimes life does not seem fair. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I just can not help but think they are all up there together watching over everyone down here. She was such a sweet, caring person and will be missed.

  3. Lenny and John, the end has come too soon. None of us were ready. Love you both. Your mom was one of a kind. I will miss her till the end of my days. Know you are in my prayers and I will always be there for you.

  5. I was so sorry to read about the passing of Joanie. I knew Joanie as a young girl (when I dated her brother Eddie in high school). She was always a sweet girl, so much fun and I’m sure she was an outstanding woman. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. May she rest in peace. Sharon Russell Beeke

  7. I worked with Joan as her supervisor the last few years before she retired. I found her to be straightforward, down-to-earth, and someone with a great sense of humor. One thing we had in common was that we were both Bruce Springsteen fans, and I always enjoyed our talks about his concerts and music in general. Joan had an impressive wealth of knowledge about all kinds of music. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Joan. My deepest condolences to Joan’s family.
