He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Patricia Cangialosi; mother, Florence Cangialosi; children, Jimmy Cangialosi, Jr., Charlie (Wendy) Amering, Trisha Amering & Patrick (Sarah) Amering; grandchildren, Tara, Victoria, Cole, Maddy, Max, Kyle, Chelsea, Calvin, Abby, Jordan & Haley; brothers, Joseph (Marilyn) Cangialosi & Gary (Gail) Cangialosi; sisters, Carol Ann (Thomas) Polaikis & Laurie Haddox; 2 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends & his special beloved dog, Maggie Mae. Jimmy is a Veteran of the United States Marines. Friends may call Tuesday November 11th 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, November 12th 9:00A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart/Stroke Association, Memorial Processing Center, PO Box 3049, Syracuse NY 13220-3049 in his memory.

  1. Dear Cangialosi family, I was so surprised to hear about Jimmy’s illness and then passing away. My deepest sympathy’s go out to the entire family. I personally only have met Jimmy a few times in the past but I have never forgotten his wonderful smile and the kindness he shared with everyone he met.
