  3. Dear Jeneanne,
With great fondness I will remember you. It was so nice to run into you again last year, when I was in Rochester visiting my family (Mahaney). I think I’ve known you since you were five or six years old. You were at our house hanging out with Paddie and Catherine so often; it was like having another little sister, which you are Jeneanne. Your contagious laugh and smile always brightened my day and for that I thank you. How fortunate I am to have crossed life’s path with you. I am so sorry I cannot be there today, for I would carry you, with great honor. I rest knowing I will see you again, when it is my turn to transition to new life. If you could put in a good word for me, I’d appreciate it. 🙂 Until that time, see ya later sis. To your family and especially you Peter, I offer my sincerest respects and condolences.
    With Love,
    Billy Mahaney

  6. Dear Pete, Cameron, & Max

I was very shocked and saddened after Lauren had told me about Jeneanne. Words can’t express how I felt at that moment. It really hit home!

It was a great pleasure to meet Jeneanne, you and your entire family at Cameron’s and Lauren’s graduation at UB.

It is very rare you walk away after a first meeting with such good and sincere feelings. A lasting impression was made to say the least. It was very obvious that she was a great wife, mother, daughter, and a friend.

God bless you all during this time of grief.

I am truly sorry that this has happened to a wonderful woman and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers will always be there for Jeneanne.

  7. I did not know Jeneanne but I am friends with her Aunt Mary and rented my first apartment from her dad. What a lovely family she came from.
I pray strength for all the family she has left behind and do know that she is now in God’s loving hands looking down on all of you with a lot of love.

  8. It is so hard to imagine that Jeneanne is gone, especially since I have never known anyone to exude life as much as she did. Thank you Jeneanne for opening your arms and welcoming me into your family with such warmth (and always a hug and a kiss). It meant the world to me. I am thankful that I was able to share in Madelyn’s wedding with you. I am so very happy that you were able to see her have the dream wedding that you wanted her to have. I will miss you dearly.

  9. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeneannes family during this difficult time. I attended college with her while at SUNY Brockport and she lived across the hall. She always lit up the room with her smile and laugh. Being from the Glens Falls region with the Homkey family, I will truly miss her.

  10. Pete and family, my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you. Jeneanne was a sweetheart and will be remembered as such. I am so sorry that you have to endure such pain.

    Many thoughts and hugs,
