Rochester: October 10, 2013 at age 80. Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis Litzenberger; children, Carol Walker, John (Jennifer) Litzenberger, Julie (Chris) Gangai, Ellen (Pete) Scheuering & Margot Garcia; grandchildren, Lexi, David, Erica, Matthew, Aidan & Addisyn; sister, Virginia Corsall; brothers-in-law, George (Donna) Litzenberger & Ralph (Janice) Litzenberger; many nieces, nephews and friends. Janet will be remembered for her devotion to her family, sense of humor and generous and caring nature. She made everyone who knew her feel like part of her family. Janet spent many years working at the Mother of Sorrows Parish. Janet's Visitation will be held Sunday, October 13th, 1-4 P.M at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 14th, 10:30 A.M. at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory Street. Interment held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Open Door Mission (OpenDoorMission.com) in her memory. Janet's family extends a thank you to the staff of 4SW at the Jewish Home for their loving care.
