Greece: Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at age 91. Predeceased by his parents, James and Grace Dixon; step-mother, Gwendolyn; wife of 66 years, Doreen Dixon; brother, Ronald Dixon. Survived by his son, James M. (Kathleen) Dixon; daughter, Susan (David) Smith; grandchildren, James (Ilona) Smith, Doreen (Timothy) D'Imperio, Laura and Samantha Dixon, Dennis Hawk, Tonya (Mike) McCarthy; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; dear friends; dear cousins in Canada. Harry was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and a retiree of Delco Products.
Friends may call Saturday (Feb 2nd) 12-2:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Private Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation in his memory.

I met Harry at the Cottages, he was my mom’s next door neighbor…..I was so shocked to
see his obituary…..I just said ‘good bye’ to him last week because my mom left the cottages….I fondly remember talking with Harry in his room…he was having a tough time turning his CD Player on so I went in to help…..then I saw all of the beautiful pictures in his room….I pointed to each picture and he told me the story behind each one, it was evident he was proud and happy to talk about his past with me…..I truly enjoyed the time we spent together….he was a soft, kind and gentle soul. Please accept my most sincere sypathy for your loss.
