Greece: October 19, 2010 at age 85. Irene is predeceased by her husband, Edward Kwasneski; sisters, Dolores Thomas & Leona Berzinski. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Lori) Kwasneski & Ann (Robert) Barrows; grandchildren, Kevin, Bianca, Christopher & Jennifer; several nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Friends may call Sunday, 3-6 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Her Graveside Service will be held Monday 1:30 P.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Blossburg PA 16912 (please meet family at the grave). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
