Rochester: Born, September 18, 1907, devoted wife and mother went home to the Lord, December 12, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond C. Lighthouse. Survived by her son, Bryan (Evie) Lighthouse; daughter, Rita (Jim) McCollister; sister, Mary Brummett; 3 grandchildren, Todd & Greg Lighthouse, Ryan McCollister; 2 great grandsons, Mason & Jack; dear friends at Seneca Towers. Irene was a devoted Christian, loved to play cards and go to lunch.
No Prior calling. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church (15 St. Martin’s Way). Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered in her memory

I know family and friends are deeply saddened by Irene’s sudden departure, as she was loved immensely, especially by her children and grandchildren. It was an honor to have known her and she certainly was an inspiration to all. She will be missed!
