  1. Dear Ed, Lori and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. What a gracious lady she was. I am pleased that I got to meet her.

  2. Dear Lori, Ed and family,
We hope you enjoy all the fond memories of Aunt Irene. May it be of some comfort to know that we are thinking of you and remembering you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.
    Danny and Patty

  3. Ed and family. I was so sorry to see the notice about Irene in today’s paper. Even though I haven’t seen her in a few years, I remember her fondly. She was a kick! Loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  4. Ed and Lori, I had hoped to meet you at the funeral but my husband is ill and I do
not feel I can leave hin. Irene and I were friends in grammar school and
high school and bridesmaids in each others weddings. I will truly miss her.

The year we graduated in ’41 the Bickslers, and your parents, Ed, and Irene and I
spent a week at Saratoga going to the races and having a great time.
Memories are so important and I will cherish them.
Irene often spoke of how wonderful you
both were in looking after her. I know you will miss her .
    In loving memory,
    Doris Peet VanVechten
