Greece: Entered into rest on February 11, 2011. Predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty six years, Robert C. Reed; daughter, Lorraine (Janette) Reed and grand- daughter, Faith Reed McNally.   Helen is loving mother of seven surviving children, Kathleen Reed (Fronczak), Jean Robinson (Raymond), Teresa Reed, Robert Reed, Debi Reed Mc- Nally (Timothy), Annette Reed, Amy Protos (Paul); nineteen grand- children, and five great-grandchild- ren; sisters, Sr. Catherine Foos, SSJ, Mary Elizabeth Murphy (Donald); brother-in-law, Gordon Reed (Laura); sisters-in-law, Doris Ogletree, Karen Hovey (Howard); several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.    Helen graduated from Holy Ro- sary School, then Nazareth Acade- my. She worked as a secretary at Eastman Kodak Co., where she met her husband. An accomplished cook and seamstress, she devoted her life to her family, and gave much time to volunteer work in the community.     Family and friends may call Tuesday, 4-7 P.M. at Vay- Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be Held, Wednesday, 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2376 West Ridge Road, Greece. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, 417 South Avenue, Rochester NY 14620 or the Alzheimers Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester NY 14620 in her memory.

  3. Mrs. Reed was such a positive part of my life growing up as a friend of Amy’s. I have such great memories of eating her freshly baked cookies, being with her at the cabin, Girl Scouts, etc. She always seemed so calm, giving, and caring. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a wonderful lady!!
