  7. Dear Newman family,
I had the pleasure of knowing and taking care of Mr. Harold Newman for about 4 years as One of his many aides at the NYS vets home. I adored this man he always greeted me when he would be outside soaking in the sun getting his tan with a smile and a hello. He was truly one of my favorite residents I thought of him as my own family. I always looked forward to being able to work with him every day he touched my heart so with his wonderful personality and his kindness and his incredible laugh! He and I shared many stories and he always would tell me about his great great grandsons as my son was the same age as his great greats. I am so blessed to have met and known this man as long as I have I always told him I wished I would have met him in a different time/place but I am glad he befriended me. I know he is looking down on us smiling with his beloved wife whom he would express he missed so much. My condolences and love! Larissa Miller CNA
