Greece: June 13, 2012, died unexpectedly from complications of her cancer treatment. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel J. Jacob; children, Daniel G. (Jennifer) Jacob & Angelique (Andrew) Hackett; grand-daughters, Cara Hackett & triplet girls on the way; brother, Charles (Barbara) Ganim; sister, Charlotte Tocci; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Gloria was a teaching assistant for Arcadia Middle School for over 15 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends may call Monday, June 18th, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 19th, 10:30 A.M. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 St. Martin's Way, Rochester NY 14616. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow Mass.

    I am so sorry to hear about Gloria’s passing. Although I only met her on one occasion, I could tell she had quite a lively personality and will be missed by many friends and family.
