  1. George was a wonderful husband to my mother Stella Gnatek-Alley, the devotion and love between the two of them will live on forever. From the first day that I saw George on his red shooter at Flemming Point I knew he would be a part of my mothers life, There wasn’t a day that went by that George didn’t tell Stella how much he loved her and that he waited all of his life to find the ‘real love of his life’ George will remain in our hearts forever. As George said just a few days before he passed he was so happy to have Stella and her family as part of his life. Be at peace our sweet George for the day will come when we will all be together again.

  2. George was my stepfather for 24 years and more of a father to me than my own. He loved his family and was happiest when everyone was together. On March 7th we will all be together again, his children, grandchildren, wife and many friends both from the Yacht Club and Fleming Point. He brought much laughter and kindness to many of ours lives. It has been an honor to know him. I guarantee he’ll be smiling down on all of us. Love, Katie, Bob & Lindsay

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with Stella and the family at this time. George was such a sweetheart and I am glad to have known him and to have helped him. I love George and Stella dearly.

  4. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. We have nice memories of you all at SBYC
