George T. Bird

Greece: Monday, February 17, 2014 at age 90. Predeceased by his brother-in-law, Fred Pomeroy, Survived by his wife Fay Bird; children, Howard (Sally) Bird, Cathy (Rick) Totah, Doug (Theresa) Bird; grandchildren, Gregory (Claire) Bird, Sarah (Jesse) Shive, Ryan (Leanna) Bird, Valerie (Todd) Orbaker, Andrea ( Howard Harding) Totah, Erika and Scott Tokarz; great- grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Jon, Melana, Laila, Conor, Katelyn and Chloe; sister-in-law, Ann Pomeroy; many loving family and friends. George is a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He is a retiree from Eastman Kodak, a boy scout leader, musician, artist, square-dancer, enjoyed the outdoors and a active member at Church of the Ascension. George's memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, February 22nd, 2:00PM at Church of the Ascension 2 Riverside Street, Rochester, NY 14613.
