Greece:  August 26, 2021 at age 92 went home to be with his parents, George Davis Hosea and Anna Pearl Palmer Hosea; beloved wife of 55 years, Ruth Arlene Imbody Hosea; grandson, Bryan Charles Lamb; brother, Dale (Janet) Hosea; dear friend, Joyce Howie.  He is survived by his loving children, Deborah K. Burgio and Sandy (David) Mozur-Mc Kinney; grandchildren, Kemberly Nicole (Bradd) Levis, Katherine Ann (Michael) Ayala, Charles James IV (Lauren) Mozur and Kyle Douglas Mozur; great- grandchildren, Arianna, Grace, Briella, Mikayla, Michael Jr., Charles and Emerson; great-great grandchildren, Isabella and Daniella; sister, Ruth Marie (Edward) Ruf; loving family and dear friends.

George was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  Born and raised in Nebraska, he was comfortable on the farm, as well as, in the city.  Settling in New Jersey with his young bride, Ruth, he was an English teacher, enjoyed coaching football, basketball and softball.  Later in life, he moved to New York, often visiting family in Texas and Nebraska. His first love was spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

George’s Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, October 8th at 11:00 AM Frieden’s United Church of Christ 1011 Church Road, Sumneytown, PA 18084 where his interment will follow in Frieden’s Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rochester Regional Health Hospice Care to support others in their time of need.  Rochester Regional Health Foundation 330 Monroe Avenue, Suite 400 Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory.  For more information and to sign his online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com
