Greece:  Passed peacefully surrounded by his children, Sunday, May 8, 2022.  Predeceased by his wife, Mary “Pat” Callahan; 5 brothers, 1 sister.  Survived by his children, Katie (Rick) Williams, Tommy Callahan, Eileen (Mike) Moloney, Kris (Greg) Weishaar; grandchildren, Aidan, Declan, Claire, Morgan, Cormac, Audrey and Natalie; sisters-in-law, Gladys Daly, Judy Callahan, Catherine Daly, Sharlene Callahan and Michele Callahan; several nieces, nephews, cousins; including Jan Fitch and many great friends.   

Gabriel was born in Malone, New York.  He moved to Rochester as a teenager.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army; receiving a medal of Good Conduct.  Gabriel worked at Delco Products for over 30 years.  He had a special appreciation for Friday Night Fish Fries, ice cream and enjoyed his Manhattans.

Friends may call Thursday (May 12th) 4-7 PM at Vay – Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (May 13th) 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church.  Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org in his memory.
