  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I am local in the area and did not know MaryAnn personally but want to share a comforting hope from the Bible. It is the promise of a ressurection. Many people agree the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones who have died is appealing, to say the least. But is it realistic to nourish such a hope? The apostles firmly believed in the resurrection of the dead. Why? For at least two reasons. First, their hope was primarily based on this fact: Jesus himself had been raised from the dead. The apostlesand ‘more than 500 brothers at one time’saw the resurrected Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:6) Additionally, Jesus’ resurrection was widely attested to and accpted, as the four Gospels show. Second, the apostles had witnessed Jesus carry out at least three resurrectionsfirst at Nain, then at Capernaum, and finally at Bethany (Luke 7:11-17; 8:49-56; John 11:1-44) Be assured that God feels for you. The Bible teaches us that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. (Job 14:14, 15) His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope, namely, the prospect of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our deadloved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28, 29) I would love to share more hope from the Bible with you. Feel free to contact my email or visit the website link for more information. My prayers are with your family through this difficult time.
