Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will always remember your big bear hugs, buckwheat pancakes, helping you with the raccoon traps in the barn, riding in the Model T Ford, picking out yarn colors for the socks you’d knit, and just your genuine heart and calming presence. Rest in peace, Grandpa.

  2. Lea and family. I was so sad to open today’s paper and see that Fred had passed. We remember his sense of humor, his pancake making skills his friendliness. I sent a note to Buick Club members. We had hoped to see you both at Maryanna’s for the picnic. We are so very sorry

  3. Fred was an awesome club member. Always a volunteer to get a job done and always a story to tell if you had the time. Rest in peace Fred!

  4. When I think of Fred I smile. He was always cheerful and kind with a great story to tell. I will miss seeing Fred and Nate bent over a Model A engine discussing how they might fix the current problem. We all had such good times on the road.

  5. Dean,
So sorry about your dad. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Was always a great pleasure working with you at German.

  6. Fred started up our Genesee Valley Sock Machine Club, and was its driving force. He wrote our newsletter. He tuned up our machines, made repairs, made tools and just handed them out to us…a gentle man, always with a story. We were all so fond of Fred—-and Lea——so happy when she accompanied him to our meetings.
That part of my world will not be the same without Fred.

  7. Fred was always willing to help. He spent many hours under our car and we are forever grateful for his car knowledge , help and friendship. Love his alpaca socks. Missing you and know you are in God’s arms.

  8. Dear Mrs. Hauck, we were so sorry to hear of Mr. Hauck’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, The Buttino Family

  9. sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. Memories of his visits to my mother (Jessie) are vivid and in the early days, time spent at Aunt Florence’s farm.
I’ve lost track of the boys….. would like to touch base if there are any contact information for them.
