Frank Ray Shepardson

Passed away on June 14, 2022

Our brother Frank has lived in the Edgerton Community for 60 years.  He has dedicated his whole life serving Rochester and the surrounding neighborhoods.

He was a veteran and served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Albany.

Frank was never home.  He would plant flowers all around the city on empty corner lots to spruce up all the neighborhoods. He would pick up breads and day old goods and deliver them to the food pantries.

He was president of the 10^th Ward Neighborhood Association.  He got people involved in the community to clean up the streets.  Every year he did Clean Sweep, not just for his neighborhood, but he volunteered to clean all of them!  He just loved to help wherever he could.

People started calling him “Angel” Frank because he was always helping.  Every Sunday he would be at church to help cook meals for the needy.  He worked with Food Link and Habitat for Humanity.  He helped the police with Pac-Tac and so many other things, receiving many awards for his community service.

His sisters and his younger brother are so proud of our “Angel” and we will miss him very much.
