Greece: Wednesday, July 25, 2018 went home to be with her Lord. She is predeceased by the love of her life, husband Joseph F. Hoffman in 1977; parents, Francis & Anna (Canonico) Buttaccio; brother, Ralph (Kay) Buttaccio; sister, Agnes (Sam) Valenti. Survived by her brother, Frank Buttaccio; many nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces, nephews; cousins and friends.
Florence was a retiree as manager of Bausch & Lomb after 52 ½ years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her visitation will be held Sunday July 29th 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, Greece. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 30th 11:00 AM at St. Marks Church 54 Kuhn Road. Dear Family and friends,
We are so sorry for the loss of our dear Aunt Florence. I’ll always remember going to Sodus Bay to spend the week with Florence and Uncle Joe. It was always fun and very memorable. She always called me Ralphie, even at the age of 60. My condolences to Uncle Frank. With love to the Buttaccio and Valenti families.
My sincere condolences to the Family on the loss of your loved one, Florence. She was a marvelous woman to haved worked for at Bausch and Lomb for so many years and also a good friend. She will be missed. I pray that the Family will find comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord now.
