Ewhen Boris Hryhorenko

Greece- Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Dec. 17, 2022, at the age of 80.  Born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine on Feb. 4, 1942, he was the son of Boris and Ewdokia Hryhorenko.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hryhorenko of 36 years; sons Kyle (Megan) Hryhorenko, Eric (Cathy) Hryhorenko, Marc (Christine) Hryhorenko; daughters, Kristen (Preston) Maxwell and Heidi (Don) Green; grandchildren, Aiden Hryhorenko, Ethan Hryhorenko, Erika Hryhorenko, Alex Green, Tyler Hryhorenko and Andy Green; sister Lyda Pidverbney and brother Socrates Hryhorenko. Predeceased by his father and mother Boris and Ewdokia Hryhorenko.

Ewhen graduated from RIT with a bachelor’s and master’s degree.  He worked for Eastman Kodak for 42 years and had two patents.  He enjoyed the company of family and friends.  He had a great love for golf, cameras and photography, coin collecting, playing the accordion and he was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Friends may call Friday (Dec 30th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Prayer Service will follow calling at 7:00 PM. Private Interment
