Greece: Friday, May 2, 2008 at age 75 years, after a courageous and dignified battle with breast cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Paul and Charlotte Hering. Eva is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Lawrence (Larry) Nersinger; children, Susan (David) Wild, Paul (Darlene Quaranto) Nersinger, Michael (Tina) Nersinger; Eva was devoted to her four grandchildren, Derek and Jeffrey Wild, Tyler and Lauren Nersinger; grand-dog, Buster; her sister, Ursula Duel; close sister-in-law and brother-in law, Joan and Bernie Salber. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a great number of caring friends and relatives in Germany. Friends may call Friday (May 16th) 4-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Memorial Service will follow calling at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 2 Park Avenue, 11th Floor, New York NY 10016 in her memory.

In this difficult time I want you to know that Eva is now free of pain and enjoying all the beauty that is heaven. She’ll be there to meet you when your time comes. During the waiting she’ll watch over and protect all of you. It never hurts to have an angel watching over you:) She has finally won her reward — praise God.
