Greece: Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at age 71. Predeceased by his daughter, Sandra M. Koneski. Survived by his daughter, Michelle Hernandez, his son, Eugene J. Koneski; grandchildren, Erika and Melissa Seil and Malcolm Hernandez; brothers, Edward, John and Joseph Koneski; several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
friends may call Sunday 1-4PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 at Holy Cross Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Deepest sympathy to the Koneski family! I met Eugene when I worked at Cuffs Tavern for 16 years. He was always a gentleman and had a great sense of humor. There are allot of Cuffs customers in heaven now Gene, so you shouldn’t be lonely. Please say hello to Frank for me. Rest in peace my friend!

Gene always treated me as one of his own kids, and ai remember how he always really cared what we were thinking or doing. He always welcomed me into his home with open arms. I’ll miss him alot.
