  4. Dear Pietak family:

I’m so sorry to learn about Mr. Pietak’s passing. We were backyard neighbors in the 60’s and 70’s in Greece and teacher/student at Charlotte High School. May your fond memories help you in the days ahead.

  5. Gene…..
The Lord took you and you will be sorely missed. Val and I so enjoyed spending time with you and Harriett over the years.
Brush up on your golf game; I will meet you on Heavens First tee when it is my turn to join you.

    Dave (cousin) & Val Pachla

  6. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Pietak’s passing. He was my high school math teacher back in the 70’s and he was an awesome teacher!! I learned to love math!! I ran in to him several years ago at Hope and was so pleased to see him!
He made a positive impact on my life! I was blessed to have gotten to meet him.
We send our love and prayers to the family!

  7. Omg🤦🏾😢…im soooo sorry & apologize (sincerely) for my late response. I was actually on ‘google’ looking up ppl i had lost contact with or hadnt seen/heard from in years (including my favorite teachers at Charlotte HS)..that’s when i saw Mr Pietak’s Obit😢 He was my favorite math teacher! He and Mr Sage taught me evrythg i know (Algebra)..although i never could get the ‘grid’ part patten down (good laughs). He was the Beessst teacher (as far as im concerned) and i will miss him dearly. But let us all find ‘comfort’ in God’s PROMISE: ‘that we will all meet again & see our loved ones & death will be no more’🙏🏾 My deepest condolences to the family
